    BAGELS are not usually synonymous with WEIGHT LOSS and I haven’t had a “real” bagel in YEARS! The gluten is a problem for me (bloating my belly and ruining my skin), but even if it weren’t for that, the average bagel carries about 48 grams of carbohydrates, and that is just for a plain one.  A normal blood sugar is about 4 grams of sugar so I don’t want to eat something 12 times my normal blood sugar! Imagine how high the sugar content climbs with cinnamon raisin or chocolate

    I love a good quiche, but that crust can be a gluten trap that makes my bones ache and my face break out. I needed to find an alternative to make at home. I also wanted something I could grab warm and serve for quick protein and healthy fats that even my 4 year old would enjoy.
